“Dogs bring so much joy to our lives. They motivate us to exercise, help us relax and remind us not to sweat the small stuff. But some dogs can be really hard to live with, especially when their behavior results in reactivity or aggression. They can be frustrating, time consuming, stressful and embarrassing. If you are going through tough times with your dog, I can help with aggression, reactivity, anxiety, fear and a variety of behaviors in between!” Mariah Scheskie

American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)

Did you know that you pet parents have access to amazing information and studies on dogs? The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) has resources specifically for pet parents. Some of the categories they have available include finding a veterinarian, pet care, emergency care, clinical studies, and lots of articles on topics such as first aid, animal welfare and more!

They say necessity is the mother of invention. That is how the Woof Pupsicle came about. You can watch the entire story on Woof’s website. Daniel the owner needed to find a way to keep a year-old energetic husky mix calm after surgery for four months. Not an easy feat!

Teresa met with staff from Woof at a conference and was introduced to their Woof Pupsicle. The smooth surface, thoughtful drool holes, easy design and fun fillings intrigued her. As a boarding facility, it is common to see dogs become anxious and licking and chewing can be calming. Teresa bought a variety of items and went home to try them out on her own pack. The dogs loved them and it kept them calm and quiet for a long while.

From the Company’s own words “Through innovation in both toys and food science, we’re helping dogs enjoy safer, healthier play while giving pet parents peace of mind (and a little peace & quiet!). Our growing pack is at the heart of everything we do: the inspiration for new solutions, inventions, and ways to connect dog lovers across the globe. If you appreciate dogs and good design, we’d love to have you along for the wonderful journey that is Woof!”

The Bite n’ Brush is a favorite in Teresa’s house. There are many new products and refill choices coming from Woof. They keep innovating for more engagement and variety. The retail area in the Happy Paws lobby carries a variety of Woof products. Woof products are proudly made in the USA in Denver, CO.

“Happy Paws is amazing! We have a difficult pup and Teresa made sure that our pup (as well as us) were diligently taken care of. The facility is beautiful, well maintained, and the staff is knowledgeable. It’s a huge relief to know your dog is in safe hands at Happy Paws.”
